Arts and Science Admission Procedure

Candidates who have completed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized State or Central Board are eligible to apply for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses. Admission is granted based on merit in the qualifying examination. The institute publishes a merit list of shortlisted candidates, and selected students are invited to complete the admission process.

To promote sports excellence, 5% of the total intake (50 seats) is reserved for students with outstanding achievements in District, State, or National-level sports. Additionally, 5% of seats are allocated based on the Merit Scholarship Test Score. Students with exceptional cut-off marks are also eligible for the Management Scholarship.

All scholarship schemes are valid for a duration of four years, subject to the condition that students maintain a minimum of 80% marks in all semesters without any backlogs.

Engineering Admission Procedure

Admission at KSR Engineering Colleges are conducted through two primary channels. 65% of the seats are allocated through single-window counseling, following Anna University norms. These seats are filled within the Round 1, 2 and 3 of counseling, requiring high cut-off marks. The remaining 35% of seats under the management quota are also awarded based on merit.

Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on their Qualifying marks (Q) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, (PCM) from their Plus Two or equivalent examination.
Q = [(P+C) / 2] + M, where P, C and M are percentage marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics respectively.
Selection is purely based on merit.

Dentistry Admission Procedure

Indian candidates must have passed Higher Secondary School or an equivalent examination from ICSE, CBSE or State Boards.

Candidates must be qualified in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Examination

Admission Requirements

Candidates must submit the following certificates/documents along with a duly filled application form (Originals + 5 Photostat Copies):

Transfer Certificate from the last institution attended.
HSC / ISCE / CBSE / Intermediate mark statement(s).
Migration Certificate (for students who have passed examinations other than the Tamil Nadu HSC).
Eligibility Certificate from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai (for students who completed their qualifying exam outside Tamil Nadu HSC).
Community Certificate (except for OC candidates).
Passport Size Photographs (5 Nos.).
Aadhaar Card Copy.

Pharmacy Admission Procedure

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) is a four-year undergraduate degree program spanning eight semesters. It equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain and enhance public health standards. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of precision in drug selection and administration, preparing students to become responsible and detail-oriented pharmacy professionals.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Must have completed their 12th-grade education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics as core subjects.
Should have passed their 12th from a recognized board.
Must have secured a minimum of 50% in their 12th board exams.

Nursing Admission Procedure

Eligibility Criteria

Any candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates must have passed HSC or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (40% for SC/ST candidates).
Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the admission year.
Vocational stream students are not eligible for admission.

Required Certificates/Documents for Submission

Candidates must submit the following original documents along with four photocopies and a duly filled application form:

Transfer Certificate from the last attended institution.
HSC / Pre-degree / AISSCE / ISCE / CBSE / Intermediate mark statements.
Migration Certificate (for students who completed exams other than the Tamil Nadu HSC Examination).
Community Certificate (except for OC candidates).
Passport-size photographs (5 copies).
Aadhaar Card copy.

Allied Health Science Admission Procedure

Eligibility Criteria

Any candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates must have passed HSC or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (40% for SC/ST candidates).
Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the admission year.
Vocational stream students are not eligible for admission.

Polytechnic Admission Procedure

The polytechnic welcomes applications from both male and female students. Reservations will be provided as per the guidelines set by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Admissions under the All-India Quota and for Orthopedically Handicapped candidates are conducted with special approval from DOTE.

Eligibility Criteria

First Year (3-year duration):

Candidates must have passed the 10th Standard/SSLC Examination.

Second Year (2-year duration) – Lateral Entry:

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Examination with any three of the following subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject,
(OR)
Candidates must have completed 10th + 2 years of ITI.

Higher Education Opportunities for Diploma Holders

As per AICTE approval, diploma holders can pursue a B.E. Degree through lateral entry in any discipline, regardless of their diploma specialization.

For example, a student with a Diploma in Civil Engineering can opt for a B.E. program in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering, or any other engineering branch available through lateral entry.

To promote sports excellence, 5% of the total intake (21 seats) is reserved for students with outstanding achievements in District, State, or National-level sports. Additionally, 5% of seats are allocated based on the Merit Scholarship Test Score. Students will secure 425 marks and above are eligible for the Management Scholarship (2 Students per Department).

All scholarship schemes are valid for a duration of three years, subject to the condition that students maintain a minimum of 80% marks in all semesters without any backlogs.

ITI admission process

Admission to our ITI will be based on Class 8th or 10th scores. No separate entrance exam will be conducted. Eligible students will secure admission to Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).

Teacher Education Admission Procedure

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year professional undergraduate degree that prepares individuals for a career in teaching. Eligibility typically requires an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks.

B.Ed. serves as a gateway to a rewarding career in education, where teaching is more than just a profession-it's a passion and a commitment to shaping future generations

Scholarship Schemes

KSR Management Scholarship

Engineering: Scholarships are awarded based on students' cut-off scores.

Arts: Students scoring 570 and above receive a 100% college fee concession for UG programs. For PG admissions, UG students securing more than 80% are eligible for a tuition fee concession.

Polytechnic: Students scoring 425 and above qualify for a scholarship.

Pharmacy: Students achieving 540 and above are eligible for a tuition fee concession.

KSR Sports Scholarship

Our management strongly supports students in sports. +2 students with certified achievements at the District, State, or National level are eligible for a sports scholarship. This will be applicable for PG also with the same conditions.

KSR Merit Scholarship & Aptitude Test

The Merit Scholarship and Aptitude Test is conducted for +2 students to award scholarships in Engineering, Arts & Science, and Polytechnic categories.
